About Us
Bread & Better Films Inc. is a partnership between a team of producers and writers with deep experience in feature film, television series, and MOW production. The company's head office in Vancouver, BC is a 5,000 sq. ft. production and post facility that includes 20 edit suites, a 5.1 sound mixing studio, voiceover/ADR booth, and the most state-of-the-art color grading suite in the city.

Matthew has produced a number of scripted projects from feature films to television series, including the film THREE NIGHT STAND, the IFC series THE BUSINESS, and docu-drama LEGENDS OF THE PONY EXPRESS.

Head of Development
René has produced and directed two feature films which have played film festivals including Vancouver, Whistler, Santa Fe, and Potenza (Italy). Previously, he worked as a story editor for filmmaker Ridley Scott on such films as BLACKHAWK DOWN, HANNIBAL, and MATCHSTICK MEN.

As an actress, Juliana has had lead and recurring roles for Showtime, The CW and ABC networks. That character work has allowed Juliana to write and produce half a dozen original movies that have been broadcast in the past 5 years.

As a producer, Rob's projects have received critical acclaim and have been official selections at top tier festivals including, TIFF, Tribeca, SITGES, Busan, Slamdance, Whistler, Beijing, among others. Worldwide distribution includes Netflix, Shudder, Sony Pictures, Elevation Pictures, Myriad Pictures, eOne Entertainment, Vertical Entertainment, XYZ Films.
Jeff
Kinnon
Producer
Jeff has over a decade of experience working in television. He has created, developed, and showrun series for CBC, Discovery, CityTV, W Network, Rogers Sportsnet, and NBC Sports. In a previous life, he was an average drummer in an underrated band.
What We Do
Our team develops original concepts for film and TV, but we also collaborate with a network of talented writers, directors, and producers throughout the US and Canada. Our projects can be found on streamers and broadcasters around the world, including Netflix, Hallmark, Hulu, and Lifetime. Our Vancouver-based office has over 5,000 square feet of post-production facilities, including AVID suites, a 5.1 soundmix studio, ADR booths, and one of the most sophisticated colour suites in Vancouver.
Our Approach
We're proudly based in Vancouver, BC but we've shot around the world, including Los Angeles, Miami, Las Vegas, Munich, Hawaii, and Portugal. Everything we produce is meant for a global audience, yet we're able to leverage Canadian tax credits to maximize value. You could say, we have a global voice at a Canadian price.
